Every time I share Wyatt eating on my stories I always get a lot of questions about what we feed him and for ideas. I also get a lot of questions about his current schedule so today I am going to share everything with you! He turned 9 months on March 30 and he is sitting up on his own and crawling. He also has 4 teeth! Here is a typical day for us:
7:00- Wyatt is usually up around 6:45-7 and he plays with his animals in his crib by himself
7:30- I go in and get him up around 7:15-7:30 and feed him a 7 oz bottle (this is the formula that we use and I could not live without this formula dispenser)
7:45- Most days we take a family walk at this time. If not, we will play or read
8:45- Nap
10:15- His naps aren’t always perfect but he usually sleeps until around 10:15
10:30- 7 oz bottle
Play
11:00- Snack (I listed ideas below along with some of our favorite products)
Play
11:45- Nap
1:30- Wake up, 7 oz bottle
Play
2:00- I will offer him another small snack or he will eat these Gerber puffs
Play
3:30- Nap (this is hit or miss these days and its anywhere from 30 min to an hour. Sometimes he’s not tired until closer to 4)
4:30- 7 oz bottle
Play (sometimes Kevin will take him and Layla on a run to get them out of the house)
6:00- Dinner (talking more about this below)
6:30- Bath, get ready for bed (linking some of our favorite bath products below)
7:00- Read books, down for the night
Breakfast:
Wyatt doesn’t typically eat a full breakfast but sometimes he will eat some oatmeal with peanut butter and berries. On the weekend we make these Kodiak Cakes for breakfast and he loves them with some banana or berries. He also loves scrambled eggs and avocado toast.
Snack:
Here are some of our favorite easy snacks that I always have on hand:
- fruit (berries, mango, kiwi, banana, cut up apple with PB)
- hard boiled eggs
- hummus with cut up cucumber or pita bread
- PB or Almond butter toast
- Gerber puffs
Dinner:
Wyatt loves to eat and doesn’t really turn much down so he usually eats what we are eating for dinner. Sometimes there are nights where he can’t have what we are eating (ex. spicy food, steak etc.) so I will make him something else. Here are some of his favorites:
- pasta
- salmon
- chicken
- broccoli
- sweet potato
- beans/chick peas
- Trader Joe’s veggie black bean burgers (I will just warm one of these up in the microwave and cut it up for him)
