Since announcing that we are expecting twins I have received a lot of questions about what gear I am planning to use this time around. I am excited to be partnering with buybuyBABY on this post as they are my go-to for all things baby! They have all the best brands and I can’t say enough good things about their curbside pickup. Below I am going to chat about each item pictured above. Some of them I used with Wyatt and am re-purchasing and others have been great recommendations from other mamas!
Elvie Wearable Double Electric Breast Pump– This is probably the product I am most excited for! Since I will have twins, I think I am going to try to exclusively pump because breastfeeding two babies at the same time seems very daunting. I have read raving reviews about the Elvie pump and love that you can just put it in your bra while you are out and about or doing things around the house. With Wyatt I had a pump that had to be plugged into the wall and it was very difficult for me to be tied down for several hours a day. This pump is on the pricier side, but I have been told by multiple friends that it is worth every single penny.
HALO 2-in-1 SleepSack Swaddle– This is a product that we used with Wyatt and I plan to use again with the twins. With the twins we plan to use two Snoo’s in the beginning, but I will use this swaddle once we transition them to cribs. I like how their arms can be in or out of this swaddle.
UPPAbaby VISTA Lower Adapter– We plan to use the same UPPAbaby VISTA stroller that we used with Wyatt, which we absolutely loved! You can add a second seat/bassinet with this adapter.
UPPAbaby VISTA Upper Seaat Adapter– This adapter is also needed for the second seat configuration.
UPPAbaby VISTA Piggyback Ride-Along Board– We got this board for Wyatt to stand on while the twins are in the stroller. I have heard from multiple toddler moms that their child loves this! I think Wyatt is going to have so much fun with it!
Owlet Smart Sock 3 Wearable Baby Monitor– This is another product that I am re-buying so that we have one for each baby. The Owlet Smart Sock gave me so much peace of mind with Wyatt and I was able to sleep better knowing that he was safe. The baby wears the monitor on their foot and it tracks their oxygen levels, heart rate, and sleep patterns. It notifies you if readings leave “safe” levels.
BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Mini– I have no idea why we didn’t jump on the BABYBJORN bandwagon with Wyatt, but I am really excited for this carrier. We ordered two of them so Kevin and I can each wear a baby when we are out and about. This was one of the most recommended products to me from other mamas.
Keekaroo Peanut Changer– This changing pad is another product that I wish I had with Wyatt. It is water resistant and easy to wipe clean so you don’t have to keep throwing covers in the wash. I also love how sleek it looks.
Bumbo 3-in-1 Multi Seat in Cool Grey– One of my twin mama friends told me that these seats are a lifesaver with twins. It can be a floor seat, feeding seat, and booster seat and can grow with your child. I plan to use this as their primary highchair instead of having two large highchairs around the house. These will also be great for travel.
BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0 Duallie Jogging Stroller– We currently use the single BOB stroller with Wyatt and can’t live without out it. Kevin loves taking Wyatt for runs every evening and it has been great for hiking or walking on uneven roads. We are upgrading to the double version this time around. It is pricey but I can vouch that it is 100% worth the money if your family likes to be active.
Yogasleep Rohm Sound Machine and Travel Case– This is one of my newborn must-haves! I used this portable sound machine with Wyatt and bought two more for the twins. I connect it to their car seat when driving, put it inside the stroller, and use it for travel instead of bringing our larger sound machine with us. It comes with a nice travel case which keeps all the charging cords in one place.
Kiinde Squeeze 2-Pack Natural Feeding Bottle– I was at a friends house the other day and she was using this bottle with her newborn baby. I asked her about it and was so excited about the features! Pretty much, there are disposable pouches that you can pour your milk into and then you connect them to the hard part of the bottle and feed directly from the pouch. This eliminates washing/sanitizing tons of bottles and makes storing milk so easy! I will keep you updated on my thoughts, but I can’t wait to use these.
BABYBJORN Bouncer Balance Soft– Again, not sure why we didn’t jump on the BABYBJORN bandwagon sooner, but this bouncer has come highly recommended! I bought two of them so each baby can have a place to lounge. I love how they fold up and can be easily stored in a closet or under a bed.
Twin Z Pillow– This was the number one recommendation I received for twins specifically. This pillow is great for feeding, lounging, tummy time, and sitting. In the beginning I think it is going to be very helpful for bottle feeding two babies at once. I will keep you posted on my thoughts!
I would love to hear from you if there are any must-have products that you recommend! Thanks again to buybuyBABY for sponsoring today’s post!
