I want to wish you all a happy Friday and weekend, but all the days seem to blur together at this point, right? I don’t have anything exciting to report this week except that life is a little more chaotic now that Wyatt is crawling. It has been so much fun to see him develop and I love how curious he is about EVERYTHING, but it’s a whole new ballgame haha. I can’t take an eye off him or he will be pulling everything off of our bar cart. For some reason that is his favorite place to go. Should I be worried? haha. His attention span is also a lot shorter than it used to be. He wants to constantly move, explore and try new things. It’s been a little challenging being stuck inside because I feel like there are limited things to keep him entertained. We used to love going to our classes, the park, running errands, meeting up with other moms, etc. If any of you mamas have ideas please send them my way! In other news, I thought it would be fun to share things today that are all related to staying in. You also NEED to watch the videos below. If you are feeling down or just need a good laugh, I promise they will do the trick! Have a great weekend and pour yourself a giant cocktail (you will get what I am referring to after seeing the video). xo
A GOOD LAUGH//If you haven’t seen Ina Garten’s “It’s always cocktail hour in a crisis” video you are seriously missing out. What is even better though, is Heather McMahan’s interpretation…..I’m DYING!!
FASHION//Let’s be real, we are all staying comfy these days. I am definitely not complaining about it, but I like to look and feel cute, even in my sweats. I was browsing Nordstrom the other day and saw that they have some really cute lounge sets right now. Here are a few favs:
SELF CARE//With a little extra time on our hands these days, why not treat yourself to a little spa day. Get a nice bubble bath going, light a candle, pour an extra large glass of wine and relax. Here are some of my favorite products for when I want to pamper myself:
ORGANIZATION//I know I’m not the only one going a little cray cray with organization lately. It’s seriously the best. feeling. EVER! I was super excited to see that The Container Store is offering between 20-30% off organization for the entire house right now. I have a bunch of items from here and will try to share them on stories this weekend.
GAME//If you are looking for a fun game to play virtually with friends, you NEED to try Quiplash. You can read more about how to play on their site, but its a hilarious game to play with 3-8 people. Everyone votes on the best answer and you use your phone as your remote. Trust me, its a good one!
KIDS//For all you mamas with little ones, here are some cute Easter craft ideas!
RECIPE//Since we will be at home for Easter, I plan to make this easy Eggs Benedict recipe with some breakfast potatoes, fruit, and mimosas.
