With baby boy arriving in just a couple months, I have been doing a lot of shopping for newborn essentials. I am not going to lie, I was a little intimidated at first because there are so many different brands and products to choose from. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with an expert consultant at my local buybuy BABY who was able to take me through the store and explain all the different options in each department. We spent some time talking about my needs and lifestyle and she was able to recommend the best products for our family. Buybuy BABY makes it so easy to set up an appointment with one of their experts right on their website. There is an option for a product consultation, just like I had, or they can even assist you with your registry. These services are completely free, and I found my consultation to be extremely helpful! I am sharing a few photos from my consultation below and a couple of the items that I ended up purchasing.
I knew I needed a bassinet, but I had no idea which one to get. My expert consultant was able to show me a few different options and I ended up going with the Halo Swivel Sleeper.
She was also very knowledgable when it came to strollers and carseats. I ended up going with the UPPAbaby Vista stroller and UPPAbaby Mesa carseat.
I love that buybuy BABY carries The Honest Company! They have the cutest diaper prints and a ton of other natural products. I got a couple packs of diapers and some bath products for baby.
I could not get over all the cute baby clothes! They have so many amazing brands to shop! A few of my favorites are Burt’s Bees, Aden + Anais, and L’ovedbaby.
I spent a lot of time looking at the different high chair options and decided to go with the Stokke Tripp Trapp (not pictured) because the design is very sleek, its easy to clean, and it can grow with the baby.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that buybuy BABY has a whole pharmacy section. They have everything that you could possibly need for yourself and your baby. A few of my mom friends recommended that I bring nipple cream with me to the hospital so I picked up the Earth Mama Organics Natural Nipple Butter and also got some diaper cream for the baby.
There are a ton of other departments at buybuy BABY including an entire furniture section and I could not recommend their services enough, especially if you are a new mom like me!
