I hope you are having a great week so far! It has officially been about a month since we have fully settled into our new house! If you are new here, we bought a fixer-upper last year and spent the last 8 months completely renovating the entire house. I will definitely be sharing more before and afters soon!
As we were finishing up construction I started to panic because we had a designated closet space that we planned in our primary bedroom, but it was a completely empty room with absolutely no where to store our clothes. We were getting close to our move-in date and we desperately needed a place to put all of our stuff! I started doing some research on closet companies and a friend referred me to Classy Closets. They did such an incredible job on her closet so I was excited to reach out to them. The moment I started talking to Danny on their team I knew I wanted to move forward with them.
What I love most about Classy Closets, aside from their beautiful designs, is how seamless their process is! After reaching out, Danny scheduled a free in-home consultation with me. He was very friendly and professional, arrived on time, and had a lot of creative ideas to maximize our space. Prior to our appointment I spent a lot of time on Instagram and Pinterest and I saved a ton of inspiration images. A few of my must-haves were short and long hanging space, a lot of drawer storage, a shoe wall, and a place to store all of my handbags and accessories. I showed all the pictures to Danny and he helped me visualize how we could incorporate these into the closet design. He also shared some other creative ideas with me that I would have never thought of! Classy Closets also has a ton of really amazing add-ons as well! Everything from jewelry drawers, laundry hampers, mirrors, tie and belt racks, valets, etc. Danny and I spent a good amount of time discussing the closet layout, colors, and hardware. At the end of the appointment he measured the space and said he would send over my design via email.
Within just a day or two Danny sent me an email with my design and I loved how it was in 3D so that I could actually visualize what the closet would look like. Here is a picture of what he sent over so you can get an idea:
We went back and fourth a couple times to make some small tweaks and to make sure we were staying within my allocated budget. Danny then provided me with an install date and I was shocked to hear that they were going to install the entire closet in just one day!
Now let’s talk about install day! Classy Closets has their own team of installers, not a third party, which is part of the reason I decided to move forward with them. Their crew does this everyday and is very experienced. They showed up right on time on the day of the install and made sure to cover all of our floors and protect our house from any damages. By the end of the day the closet was complete! It’s hard to believe, but it actually looked bigger after the system was installed! Danny maximized every inch of space and there was no area that wasn’t being used for storage.
The most exciting part for me was actually organizing the closet with all of our stuff. Every item now has a home and it feels so bright, airy, and organized! Classy Closets exceeded my expectations in every way possible and I would recommend them to anyone!
