I am so excited to share our new primary closet with you! We recently moved into our long term house (I hate to say forever home haha) and while the house was just built, the builder did not finish out the closet. Here is a before photo and as you can see it’s just a blank slate:
I knew that the moment we closed on our house that I was going to use Classy Closets again because I had the best experience previously. You may remember they did our primary closet in our last house and I have an entire blog post on that here. One thing I was excited about for the new closet was having much more space to work with than our previous closet. I also wanted to do something a little different than we did previously (even though I LOVED our other closet) so we decided to go with two-toned cabinetry. I like how the white still keeps things bright and airy, but the wood adds a little more dimension. Our new house is pretty modern so I feel like the wood with brushed nickel hardware blends in seamlessly with the rest of the house.
I talked a lot about the process in my previous blog post, but I had the same positive experience with Classy Closets this time around as well! Danny, the same designer that I worked with previously, came over and met with me to talk details. I told him about all of the things that I loved about my last closet and some things that I wanted to include in this closet since I had more space to work with. For example, in our previous closet I didn’t do a built-in laundry hamper due to lack of space but this time around it was a must for me! I also found that in our last house I was lacking shoe space so we added more this time. We also added a lot more drawer space for Kevin since he keeps most of his clothes in drawers, rather than on hangers.
After our meeting Danny went back and put together 3D images of my closet and sent them to me over email. We went back and fourth a couple times on the design until it was perfect. Here is what the 3D designs look like:
After I gave Danny the final approval we scheduled an install date! On the day of installation their team arrived on time, covered all of our floors/stairs to protect them from any harm, and they finished the job in one day! Walking in and seeing the closet for the first time was so exciting and I couldn’t wait to put all of my clothes and accessories away! Here are some completed phots after organizing everything:
Thank you again Classy Closets fort making my closet dreams come true! They have many locations across the country and can do much more than closets! Classy Closets is offering you 10% off if you mention my name now through December 31, 2024!
