I am so excited to finally share baby boys nursery with you guys! I partnered up with Joss & Main to design this space and I could not be more pleased with how it turned out! A ton of my home decor is from Joss & Main and I always go back to them because they have all the trendiest styles at great prices, plus free shipping! My goal for baby boy’s nursery was to create a serene atmosphere, but I also wanted to make it a little whimsical with the accent wall.
I decided to go with a regular dresser instead of a typical changing table so that the baby could grow into it. I purchased a separate changing table tray that I placed right on top and it can easily be removed when he gets older. I love the modern look of this dresser and the black hardware.
I thought this crib went really well with the style of the dresser. It has similar legs and I love the two-toned color. It’s a little hard to tell in the picture, but the bars are actually a natural wood color and I love the contrast against the white. One of my favorite parts about this crib is that it converts into a toddler bed, which is great because just like the dresser, he can grow into it.
This cozy corner is my favorite part of the room! This blue velvet rocking chair really makes a statement and provides a fun pop of color against all the white. I also love this leather pouf (that comes in a ton of colors), which will be a great place to rest my feet as I nurse and read to the baby. I added a set of acrylic bookshelves on the wall above the rocking chair and I love how the books look like they are floating.
I knew I wanted to do some sort of accent wall and instead of installing wallpaper (which I heard can be a pain if you are planning to DIY it), I decided to go with these Swiss cross decals. I found Kenna Sato Designs on Etsy and she has so many adorable decals to choose from! I was a little intimidated at first, but she gives great instructions and my sister helped me put them up in just a few hours. A great thing about going with decals is they can easily be removed later on.
Lastly, I fell in love with this moroccan style rug and the price is really good! It comes in a few color options, but I went with the white to keep the room nice and bright. You can also see a sneak peak of Baby W’s closet, and I have a post with the full reveal here.
I hope you guys enjoyed seeing Baby W’s nursery! I can’t believe he is going to be here next month and I can’t wait to enjoy this cozy space with him! Thank you to Joss & Main for partnering with me on this post!
