My favorite sale of the year begins next week, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I’ve received some questions about it so I thought it would be helpful to put all the information in one place for you! This is the first year that they have released a preview of the entire sale so I spent hours going though everything to put together my favorites, which will hopefully make shopping a lot easier for you!
What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is a once yearly sale where you can shop brand new Fall merchandise at a discounted price for a select period of time. After the sale ends, all the items go back to their original price. The sale includes everything from clothing, shoes, accessories, beauty, and home!
When can I shop the sale?
You can shop the sale depending on your card status with Nordstrom. If you aren’t sure of your status log into your account and it will tell you. If you do not have a Nordstrom card you can sign up for one here.
What do I shop for?
Here are the items I personally keep an eye out for:
- a couple pairs of versatile booties/boots
- a pair of running shoes (usually Nike or Adidas)
- a pair of everyday sneakers
- a couple sweaters that I can wear all Fall/Winter (usually love Free People and Topshop)
- a jacket (I live in San Diego so I usually go for a Moto jacket or something lighter)
- a couple pairs of denim
- a dress
- athletic gear (I live in leggings and workout gear so this is my fav to stock up on)
- a cozy pair of pjs/loungewear
- a couple beauty items
- a couple home items

How to Prepare for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale:
- If you want to shop early make sure you sign up for a Nordstrom card. You can do so here.
- If you haven’t used a double point day make sure to use it for the sale! I always save mine for this because it’s typically when I spend the most at once.
- Take note of the date that you are able to shop. You can click on any of the items in this post and create a wishlist so they are all in one place (things go quick so this will really help!)
