Good morning friends! I have received a lot of questions lately about what I registered for and what baby products I am planning to use, so I wanted to round up 10 items that came highly recommended to me. Keep in mind I have not yet used these products and plan to review each of them after I do, but since so many of you were wondering I wanted to share! I did A TON of research on my own as well so I am very excited about each of these items already!
- UPPAbaby Vista Stroller– I attended an event several months back and UPPAbaby had a booth there. I was able to test out their Vista stroller and I fell in love with it. First of all, I love the look of it and there are so many different colors/patterns to choose from! I went with the Bryce, which is a pretty white fabric with a brown leather handlebar. What I love about the Vista so far is that it comes with the basinet attachment and the toddler seat so it can transition with your baby as he/she gets bigger. You could also use the basinet as the baby’s bed and purchase the stand off their website! One other great feature that I love about this stroller is that it can eventually be used for more than one child- you can add additional seats and even their PiggyBack Ride-Along Board for bigger kids!
- UPPAbaby Mesa Carseat– This carseat works with the Vista stroller, has amazing reviews, and was awarded with a NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) 5-star rating!
- Owlet Smart Sock + Camera– I am really excited about this combo because it will give me peace of mind that everything is ok with baby. The Owlet Smart Sock + Cam is the first baby monitor system to track the baby’s heart rate and oxygen levels while streaming video and audio to your phone. You can also see live readings using Owlet’s app, but can also use the information to understand their baby’s overall wellness. - Plum + Sparrow Moses Basket– This is what we plan to use next to our bed as the baby’s basinet. I am obsessed with all their unique designs and patterns. It does not come with a stand, so you will need purchase that separately. I linked one below that works, but you can find other options on Etsy too! On a side note, you may notice that the Moses baskets sell out quick, but they are restocked every Friday morning so keep an eye out!
- Moses Basket Stand– This is a great stand option for the Moses basket! I love how it rocks as well!
- BOB Jogging Stroller– We plan to use the UPPAbaby Vista as our main stroller, but I got the BOB so I can take the baby on runs and use this as a form of exercise. My sister-in-law swears by this stroller so I am really excited to use it!
- DockATot– All of my closest mama friends have the DockATot and have raved about it! I actually went to a DockATot event a few months back where they launched their new Mediterraneo Collection and I fell in love with all their gorgeous prints! This is a great product for the baby to lounge in and I have heard that it is great for traveling (you can purchase a travel bag for it).
- DockATot Toy Arch– I decided to get the toy arch, which is an additional feature you can purchase for the DockATot. While the baby is lounging, they will have something to look at and keep them occupied.
- Hatch Sound Machine– I did a lot of research on the best sound machines out there and decided to go with this one due to the amazing reviews on Amazon (almost 2k)! The Hatch is not only a sound machine, but also a nightlight and it can also be programmed to your baby’s sleep schedule! All of it’s features can be controlled from your phone, which makes it very convenient!
- 4moms mamaRoo 4– Another product that came highly recommended to me was the mamaRoo 4! I am very excited to try this product because it’s the only infant seat that replicates natural motions of parents. It is Bluetooth enabled and has 5 different motions and speeds to choose from. I love how it comes with a toy mobile to keep the baby occupied!
